How to make physalis salsa

Here are the Physalis fruits.

Remove the leaves.

Like so.

Here we have the jalapeno.

Peel an onion and use half of it if you have 200 grams physalis.

Add the physalis and the jalapeno to the pot.

Cover with water and boil for 5 minutes.

Like so.

Pour off the water and add cilantro.

Use your hand blender. Add cumin and salt to taste.

Pour into a container and chill it. Serve to a (rib) chili or to tacos.
